After bypassing paywalls and privacy protection settings, OpenAI has paused the version of its conversational agent for searches in Microsoft’s Bing browser, which is currently in beta for ChatGPT Plus subscribers.

Several reports relate, for example, to a case where a ChatGPT Plus subscriber asked the chatbot for the full text of a URL, and the agent responded with the full-text bypassing paywalls – payment request screens to access an article, for example – but also privacy protection settings.
