LG phones have never gained the popularity and recognition they deserved. They have often refined devices with great audio, which characterize the best LG smartphones. In the first half of 2021, the company announced a withdrawal from the mobile market, and we are checking which LG 2022 phones are still worth buying. Here are our proposed “five” from LG.

Recommended LG smartphone – specification

LG is a manufacturer with traditions that once had a fairly strong position in the mobile telephony industry. Like Samsung or Sony, it is also present in other electronic industries, especially electronics/household appliances. What should characterize a good LG phone?

Of course, not every Redmi phone will be able to meet 100% of the above requirements – sometimes it is worth compromising, e.g. when you do not care about a given specification. Which Redmi phone is the most attractive right now?

LG V60 ThinQ

LG V60 ThinQ 5G is one of the newer models in the stable of the Korean manufacturer. Due to the situation in the world, the phone was not shown at the MWC in Barcelona.

The manufacturer has made every effort to ensure that the equipment can be called a music smartphone. The LG V60 ThinQ has a minijack connector and a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad converter. LG has also installed a special sound processor to help achieve cinematic quality – the processor recognizes what we are currently listening to. To this let’s add that the camera module is to record video in 8K!

The heart of the LG V60 ThinQ is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor supported by the Adreno 650 graphics chip. Onboard, you will also find 8 GB of RAM. There are two versions to choose from: the first with 128 and the second with 256 GB of memory for files, photos, and applications. The display has a diagonal of 6.8 inches and a resolution of 1080 by 2460 pixels (and there is also a Dual Screen). This results in a density per inch of 395 PPI. The device is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, the handset does not support inductive charging, but there is fast charging in Qi technology.

LG G8X ThinQ

The LG G8X ThinQ attracts attention because it is one of the few smartphones that use the Dual Screen option. What is that? This is nothing more than a special “case” that allows you to expand the device with an additional display.

Just attach them to the phone and we can enjoy the additional workspace. This additional display is made in OLED technology – it has 6.4 inches and a resolution of 2340 by 1080 pixels, which is exactly the same as the main display on the smartphone in question. Additionally, Dual Screen adds one more screen! This one sits on the outside and is quite small – it’s 2.1 inches and displays more or less what the Always-on Display feature usually shows.

LG G8X ThinQ runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor supported by the Adreno 640 graphics processor. Applications run on 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB for files. The device has been equipped with an OLED display with a diagonal of 6.4 inches and a resolution of 2340 by 1080 pixels, and their density per inch is 403. LG G8X ThinQ has a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh and supports inductive charging in Qi technology, and also fast charging.

LG G8s ThinQ

One of those smartphones of the Korean manufacturer came to Poland with a significant delay. However, this does not change the fact that it is one of the most interesting headphones from the Korean manufacturer. The reason is really nice photo software. With its help, we can create artificial light that will brighten the selected part of the photo, there is a night mode, as well as the possibility of creating an animation in which only the selected object is moving.

The LG G8s ThinQ has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and an Adreno 640 graphics chip. You will have 128 GB of internal memory for photos and other files. The applications run on 6 GB of RAM. The OLED display has a diagonal of 6.2 inches and a resolution of 1080 by 2248 pixels – the PPI here is 402. LG G8s ThinQ has a 3550 mAh battery and supports fast charging and inductive charging in PMA and Qi technology.

LG Wing 5G

A very original approach to the subject on the part of Koreans! LG Wing 5G has 2 screens, but – unlike the V60 or G8X – the second panel is not added, but … hidden by the main, rotating display. This is one of the last LG phones!

LG Wing runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. Depending on the version, it has 128 or 256 GB of memory for photos and other files, as well as 8 GB of RAM on which the system and applications will work. This extraordinary LG has a 4000 mAh battery.

The displays in the LG Wing 5G have a diagonal of 6.8 and 3.9 inches. They were made in P-OLED and g-OLED technology. The main panel rotates 90 degrees, revealing an additional screen. The smartphone is equipped with three cameras located on the back cover: 64, 13, and 12 Mpix. There is a 32 Mpix lens at the front.

LG Velvet

LG Velvet is a novelty from the Korean company from the second quarter of 2020. The smartphone belongs to the higher mid-price range.

LG Velvet looks phenomenal. Its front looks beautiful, dominated by a P-OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.8 ″! In its upper part, there is a place for the front 16 Mpix camera. Note – LG Velvet supports an additional Dual Screen!

The heart of LG Velvet is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor, which is supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM. 128 GB of space with the possibility of expanding has been allocated for applications and other files. Under a beautiful housing (on the back of which there is a triple camera 48 + 8 + 5 Mpix) LG Velvet also hides a powerful battery with a capacity of 4300 mAh.
